Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The hosts were really friendly, even though they only speak Portuguese, we managed to communicate and they made us feel at home. They have us homemade wine too. The view from the apartment is beautiful.
Negative: The accessibility of the apartment is troublesome. It is located in a small alley with only stairs. That is only a problem when unloading/loading the car, though. And it adds to the adventure :) The beds are short, but that seems to be normal in Madeira.
