The villa is situated on a secluded 13 acre property with 360° views of the Monchique Mountain and rural landscapes down a protected valley to the sea. Guests can relax in the airy, comfortable living rooms with high ceilings and fireplaces. The fully equipped open plan kitchen and dining area looks down onto the sittingroom with sofas, satellite television and music. Wide doors lead from the kitchen/dining area to outside dining on a terrace with a shaded marble table and BBQ overlooking the inviting swimming pool. The 10m x 6m pool (including Roman steps) is set in a picturesque walled private courtyard, laid out with Monchique cobbles and hand painted tile panels from Porches Pottery. Terracota pots with flowers and succulents decorate every corner. Relaxing on poolbeds around the pool is the best part of the holiday. Try our local wines and enjoy lunch on the amazing slab of shaded marble.
The living space totals 360sqm; this includes 4 bedrooms, 2 with king size beds and en-suite bathrooms. The 2 twin bedded rooms (1 has an extra captain's cabin bed) are on either side of the large bathroom (2 basins, bath, separate shower, loo and bidet). The unusually large air conditioned master bedroom includes a sitting area with 2 sofas. Facing the sunrise are 2 small balconies, facing the sunset is a large balcony for sunbathing in private. A dressing room (with hairdryer) leads to a large bathroom with separate shower, bath, 2 basins, loo and bidet. The pool can be accessed by private stairs from the master bedroom. The second light and sunny double bedroom has a sitting area, a cot, access to its own private bathroom with bath and overhead shower, basin and loo.
