Positive: The location was fantastic! It was only about fifteen minutes from Tenorio Volcano National Park. Biagua seems to be a really nice town also. We were able to walk to a restaurant to have dinner a couple of nights. It was a very comfortable room. The air conditioning worked well. Sometimes, during the hottest part of the day, it would take a while to cool things off if the air conditioning had been turned off. I was really grateful for the air conditioning. I think it might be the only rental unit on the property that had air conditioning. Itza, Kliver  and Itza's family were very helpful.  They did an excellent job of working with me with my allergy to many fragrances.  I  had no problems with that there.  The bathroom is quite large. There were plenty of towels and even a wash cloth. The towels were large and plush. They were quite nice.
Negative: Itza had indicated that it was probably the noisiest unit. It is only about forty or fifty feet from a very busy highway, Route 6. But, to me, having air conditioning is more important than having less noise. There was a lot of traffic noise and I think it was all night long, every night. I would have liked more lighting available. When you open the curtains, you have plenty of light if it is daytime. There are three lighting sources in one room. It just seemed a little on the dim side to me. It was good enough, though. I have definitely seen worse. The check-in process was difficult due to the requirement for payment in cash. It was also a little difficult to figure out where the place was. After about 15 minutes, We found someone who worked for the place and he was able to bring us to our room. It took about ten more minutes of him trying to contact the lady in charge before he could figure out what was the right room for us. Then he asked for payment. He had the right amount, and all sounded good. He certainly seemed trustworthy. But since he was clearly communicating with someone else who knew more about what was going on.I felt a little uncomfortable turning over cash to him.especially when no receipt would be available. For a few hours, I was not getting any responses in booking.com when I asked if it would be okay to give the money to Kliver. I think Itzsa was having connection.Is that first day, but it would have been good to know about who I could pay beforehand. It took at least another day before I was able to get both clarification and see somebody that I could get the money to. We are very uncomfortable carrying around that much cash. The bed was a lot more firm than my husband and I like, but  comfortable enough.   They supply a lot of blankets, which I liked.  The blankets made sleeping much more comfortable. For the first couple of days we were there, we had only cold water in the shower. I don't think that is the usual.
