This charming, light-filled apartment is just 40 metres from the Adriatic Coast and beautiful Marangi beach. The property sleeps 7 people and makes a wonderful choice for a relaxed holiday for family or friends who want to relax by the sea and explore the Salento peninsula.
The front of the house has a paved driveway with parking and double glass doors lead into the open-plan living room. The living room is furnished with a sofa, flat-screen TV, a dining table and chairs. The separate kitchen is at the back of the house and opens onto the shaded terrace which acts as an extension to the living space. The kitchen is equipped with a cooker hob, oven and fridge/freezer.
The private terrace, which is beautifully tiled, has a dining table and chairs, as well as additional seating and an outdoor shower, ideal after a day on the beach. A back gate leads from the terrace to the beach, just a short walk away.

Location
The house is on the southern edge of the small town of San Foca, known for its beautiful sandy beaches, with pristine sea. The town is home to a large marina and also has some fun restaurants along the seafront. All are within easy reach on foot along the Lungomare. There is a supermarket just a 1-minute walk away.
The peaceful town of Melendugno (12 minutes) makes a lovely day out. There are some interesting churches, as well as a 12th-century abbey, a small castle and several excellent restaurants. The weekly market (Wednesday) is a source of the best local ingredients to cook at home.
Further afield is Lecce (30 minutes), the “Florence of the South”. It is blessed with wonderful Baroque architecture as well as Roman ruins. It is a jewel of a city and well worth a visit. Not only for its long history but also for its excellent food and good shopping.
To get into nature the WWF nature reserve of Le Cesine is just 5 minutes from the villa. Or for golfers, there are 2 golf clubs near the town of Acaya (15 minutes)
The closest airport is at Brindisi - just over an hour away by car.
