5 bedroom, 4 bathroom detached villa with swimming pool. This property is of the latest cube design and very modern, furnished to a very high standard. The accommodation of the property comprises a kitchen, large lounge and dining area, 2 bedrooms both with built in wardrobes, 2 bathrooms on the ground floor. On the first floor are a further 3 bedrooms with built in wardrobes and 2 bathrooms. The property has full air conditioning to all rooms, electric window shutters, Wifi & Tv dish and Burglar Alarm. There is a garden laid down to astro turf and a good size swimming pool with tiled surround. On the roof top solarium is has been laid with astro turf. Located in a very quiet area within walking distance of the famous Villamartin Plaza with its many shops and restaurants, a hire car would be advisable for nipping to the supermarket or local restaurants, but ideal for a family relaxing holiday. A golfers paradise is close by with Villamartin Golf Resort, Las Ramblas and Campoamor golf all within 3 kms, everything for that keen golfer. Hire equipment is available from Los Dolses or La Fuente Commercial Centres for those who do not want to have the stress of bringing your own clubs. The Villa is fitted with an electric pay box for the aircon only.

Summary: This is a lovely Villa but - our first shock was the amount of building work under construction immediately opposite this house. Work starts at 7.30am to about 6pm with a short break, so very noisy every day except Sunday. Notification of this, which will certainly last all summer, would have prepared us. Definitely not a peaceful location at the moment. After being shown round we noticed one of the large patio/window doors beside the kitchen had a bad crack about 3’ long on one of the doors. We were told it was known about. During our stay this crack extended almost to the top and we stopped using this door or opening the shutter for fear it might break completely. On leaving the villa a photo was taken by the owner (?). We also had to point out that our 5 year old cut her foot badly on the top step into the Pool where a missing tile has left a very sharp edge. One of the Drive gates had to be propped open for the last couple of days as it was coming away from the wall. Great care has to be taken, especially by children or the elderly, when using any of the stairs/steps inside and out as there are no handrails on any of them. The raised front terrace has no balustrade to the front, so again somewhat hazardous. A plus was the ramp for pushchair or wheelchair access. Despite the foregoing we did all enjoy our holiday, the Pool being a very big hit with the children! Location to Villamartin Plaza is good, about 5 minutes by car, Supermarket about 10 minutes.
