Casa Barbara is a carefully restored, rustic-style house, dating back around a hundred years. A beamed ceiling, thick walls and a fireplace retain the rustic theme of the living room, along with arched open doorways accessing other parts of the house, including the country kitchen. Two twin bedrooms overlooking the rear garden and the swimming pool and sharing a bathroom. The third bedroom, a double, overlooking a little garden, has an en-suite bathroom reached by two steps and an adjoining sitting room. Villa is countryside location 2km from Pechao village and 5km from water front bars and restaurants in Olhao, away from crowds but still easy reach of major resorts and golfing facilities.------ Corona-virus Update

Summary: Had a really good time here. The villa has everything you need and the aircon is much appreciated in 35-40 degrees!! Suzana was the perfect host, met us on arrival and popped in regularly to water the plants. The only thing we couldn’t find on the listing was the hot tub but no way we needed any more hot that 11 days!! The only thing to watch out for was wasps in the pool, nobody’s fault but just in case of small children trying to ‘save’ them :-) Loved sitting at night or early morning watching the various wildlife that visited the beautiful gardens The area was remote, you definitely need a car here It was perfect!
