C’an Jolie was built eleven years ago, in traditional Mallorcan style, up a winding road, about ten minutes after-dinner stroll out of Deia. It is built on three floors and every room has a big view out to sea. The pool (seven and a half metres by four meters – modest, like most Deia pools) is set in a sun terrace at the back of the house with a breathtaking view of the Sierra de Tramuntana mountain range. The road which leads down to the coast road continues straight on down to the delightful little Cala Deia. A pretty little cove with a stone beach, a bar and a popular fresh fish restaurant.
