Set in praia da luz. The villa is 5 mins walk to the sandy beach and 10 mins drive to the town of lagos. There are also many other beaches within short driving distance. The resort hosts plenty of restaurants, bars and shops within short walking distance (5-10mins). For those seeking more night life, lagos is recommended. There are several golf course close by and three great waterparks, the furthest being a 45 minute drive away. For anyone who has experience of 'seaworld' in florida, a day trip to 'zoomarine' is highly recommended, again about a 45 minute drive.

Summary: The owner Lenny gave us details of a taxi company to pick us up from the airport which was a great start. It's about an hour drive. The pool was a good size for just the 4 of us. We were all apprehensive when we realised there was no air-conditioning but to be honest it was fine. The bedrooms were cool at night and the front room/dining room and kitchen was lovely and cool with the balcony doors and back door open (lovely).. short walk to some fantastic restaurants which we went to every evening and reasonably priced. A Choncha, Chiccas, Zest, Arte and Fortaleza de Luz all were of a high quality food with great service. Our only disappointment which was nothing to do with Lenny or his Villa was; the next door villa had their family with 3 young boys stay for 4 days out of our 7 days duration..and they were should i say out of control! Noisy and jumping in their pool with water coming over on us whilst chilling the pool. We normally tend to book adult only hotels to avoid this! As i know it can't be helped? So if was very disappointing for us but couldn't be helped i suppose. Boys will be boys and im sure it was a one off. Other than that it was a brilliant holiday!
