The Space:
Welcome to “Villa Vilano,” this modern yet cozy oceanfront home. This 3-level home that sleeps up to 10 went through a complete remodel in 2020 bring a beautiful new aesthetic to this home and area. Located in the heart of Vilano Beach, “Villa Vilano” is just minutes from the historic Downtown St. Augustine.
As you walk into the home on the second floor, you will instantly see some of the wonderful work that was done during the remodel. The front door opens into the main living area and some of the best views you will find of the Atlantic Ocean. The living room is equipped with all new furniture, a large flat screen tv and opens into the kitchen and dining space. A large island with a stove top and seating for 5 sits in the middle of the kitchen, surrounded by new top of the line appliances and a round dining table for 5.
Make your way to the top floor to two, yes TWO! primary rooms. Both rooms have king beds. One of the rooms has an en suite with a walk in shower, a single sink vanity and walk in closet. The other king room has a very large bathroom right outside the bedroom door. It has a double vanity, massive step in shower made for two, and large soaking tub! This room has private access to an outdoor patio.
Back on the main living floor, there are two more bedrooms. Bedroom 3 has a queen bed and a private outdoor patio over looking the neighborhood, making it the perfect place to catch sunsets! Bedroom 4 has two twin beds. Both of these rooms share a full bathroom with a shower-tub combo.
You will find bedroom 5 on the first level. The access to this bedroom is off of the garage. It has a queen bed and its own ensuite with a walk in shower. It also has direct access to a nice covered patio.
“Villa Vilano” may seem just too good to be true, but it only gets better. On the main level there is a large balcony that looks out over the ocean. Here you will find plenty of lounging options for soaking up the sun. There is also an outdoor dining table for gathering friends and family after a long day out at the beach. Take the stairs outside down to the ground level and take a dip in the sparkling swimming pool or relax those muscles in the hot tub.

POOL AND DRIVEWAY are under 24/7 surveillance for security and safety measures. There is a camera located in the front of the property, above the garage doors and one the back of the property that monitors the pool and walkway to the beach.
Garage: Guests have access to one of the garage bays. It houses the washer and dryers, extra fridge, and beach gear. Unfortunately, there is not room to park a vehicle inside. All parking is outside and is limited to 4 cars.

The primary reservation holder must provide a Government-Issued ID that matches the name on the rental agreement. This is a requirement from St. Johns County. All guest's names (first and last) must be provided. The ages of any minors are required to be listed. This is for emergency and insurance purposes.
Guest Access:
We offer self-check-in. Portoro uses smart locks.
We cannot guarantee early check-ins or late checkouts in advance. If the house happens to be ready earlier than our standard 4 pm check-in time on the day of your arrival, we, in most cases will allow an early check-in. For a reliable alternative with guaranteed check-in or check-out timing, you should book the night before or after your scheduled arrival or departure.
Getting Around:

Pets are not allowed at this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without Portoro approval, there will be a cleaning charge of 500 dollars.
We cannot guarantee early check ins or late checkouts. When it is possible to check in early or check out late, there will be a fee for anything outside of a one hour window within our standard times. If your need for an early check in or late check out is great, your best option is to book an additional night.
The home has cameras for external monitoring only.
HOTEL TAX COLLECTION: Both St. Johns County and the State of Florida require all hotel and vacation rental hosts to collect hotel tax. We collect these two taxes within the booking transaction. The state requires 6.5% and the county requires 5%.
Long Term Stays, Snowbird, long-term rental: Contact Wren Beach Rentals by Portoro to discuss if a long term stay discount applies to this listing. Stays over six months are waived from paying the State and Local Hotel Tax. However, there are additional fees we need to collect for damage coverage and housekeeping. In compliance with our policies for long term stays, we need to collect an additional cleaning fee for guests staying longer than 3 weeks. Your Guest Ambassador will coordinate the cleaning schedule for a minimum of once every 2 weeks. You can request cleanings more frequently if desired. Additional cleaning charges will be sent using a payment request or resolution request, immediately following the cleaning. Your guest ambassador will reply shortly and be available to assist you where needed.
Interaction with Guests:
Portoro offers self check in. As your hosts, Portoro will be available to answer any questions you may have about the home or the surrounding area. Guests will have access via an electronic smart lock and the access code will be provided before your arrival.
