Villa Vettica is a very spacious, comfortable villa with a spectacular view of the sea and of the coast of Amalfi. The setting of the villa is serene and provides total privacy. It seats in a very quiet and peaceful area, surrounded by countryside of vineyards and fragrant lemon groves. Ample outdoor space offers different places to sit and enjoy the view and of course, enjoy long lazy Italian “al fresco” meals with friends or family. The property is located at the edge of the small hamlet of Vettica, consisting in a cluster of small old houses, conveniently situated only 3,5 Km. from the centre of Amalfi which can be easily reached using the “SITA” bus regular service. The SITA bus stop is just across the street from the stairway (about 54 small steps) which connect the villa with the main coastal road. The interiors of the villa are comfortably furnished and facilities include all modern equipments (private swimming pool, air conditioning in every room, heating, Wi-Fi internet connection, dishwasher, washing machine, fireplace, etc...) assuring its guests the most comfortable stay. The spacious interior is airy and bright thanks to large windows facing the sea and the lemon gardens. Outside, a beautiful pool area partly shaded by a pergola with a bamboo roof, a private lemon garden and a gorgeous rooftop terrace complete this superb holiday accommodation. With its perfect location, this property is an excellent base for guests wishing to enjoy both a relaxing vacation and day trips to other places of interest nearby such as Positano, Praiano, Ravello, Capri, as well as to the coast of Sorrento and Napoli. ACCOMMODATION (approximately 110 sq m indoor and 200 sq m outdoor): The accommodation is suitable for 4/5 persons Upon entering the gate, you will find a private narrow pathway that takes to the front door. Once inside you will find a combined living/dining room with kitchen corner. This extremely spacious open space has a second direct access to the pathway through another French door. The furnishings include a wood dining table which can accommodate up to six persons, a cupboard, two sofas (one of which unfolds into a bed suitable for one adult) and two wicker chairs around a coffee table, a big fireplace, Sat television and CD Stereo. The well equipped kitchen is spacious and comfortable and includes a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a washing machine, an Italian-style coffee-maker and other small appliances. Adjacent to the kitchen is a bathroom which is equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a hydro-massage shower. From one side of the living room, a small corridor leads to two double bedrooms. The first bedroom features a matrimonial bed (160 x 180) and a window with views over lemon groves and the sea. The second and larger bedroom features a matrimonial bed (160 x 180) and an independent access, via a French door, to the main pathway. The second bathroom is accessed from the corridor. It is equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a Jacuzzi bathtub. OUTDOOR The villa features two wide private terraces. On the main terrace you will find everything you might need for spending hours of entertainment and relaxation: outdoor seating area with table and chairs, deck-chairs, sunshades, external shower and the private swimming pool where you can bathe and admire breathtaking views. The swimming pool measures 4 x 8 meters, 1.7 meters deep The terrace is partly shaded by a pergola bamboo roof and houses a dining table sitting 6 persons. Additionally, for those who enjoy eating ‘al fresco’, the outdoor eating area features a BBQ and a traditional wood-burning pizza oven. The pool area is surrounded by lemon trees, stone benches and sun loungers. Five steps lead up to an additional terrace, functioning as a sunbathing terrace, with elevated views towards Amalfi and across the bay. The sunbathing area is comfortably furnished with sun loungers, a dining table with armchairs, a coffee table. Wireless internet access is included throughout the house. Check-in procedure Check-in time is between 4,00 and 8,00 p.m., from Monday to Saturday. You will be met and taken to the booked accommodation, asked for a photo copy of your Id or passport, any extras and the Breakage deposit (in cash only in any currencies) € 400,00 – this is refunded on your departure day, less any breakages. We strongly recommend contacting our land agents the day before or early morning of your arrival day, to let them know how you intend getting to the resort and approximate arrival time, they will in this occasion be able to advise of any local fiestas, roads closed etc... Check-out time is between 07:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m., from Monday to Saturday. On departure the property has to be left tidy, with the kitchen clean and free from trash. Should these conditions not be respected, there will a deduction from the deposit - amount corresponding to the extra cleaning time. Arrival and departure times can be arranged outside these times or Sunday, for this service a supplement of € 55,00 is applied.
