This wonderfully cared-for, 5-bedroom home provides a calming respite only 1 hour away from Toronto. With over 3000 sq. ft. of space, you'll have everything you need for an unforgettable family vacation.
Please note we require a supplemental contract be signed at the time of booking/check-in.
Our family home sits on 4.5 acres of prime waterfront land - located only 1 hour away from Toronto and 15 minutes away from Caledon. Please note no powered motorboats are allowed on the lake.

Nestled in the heart of Alton, our area is surrounded by lush green fields, rolling hills, and serene countryside views, perfect for nature lovers and outdoor activities. Getting Around:
You'll need a car to reach our property. We are just a few minutes away from access to Highway 10 with access to Brampton and Toronto via Highway 410.
Parking: The property provides ample parking space for guests. You can park your vehicles safely and conveniently right on the premises.
Please note a $1500 security deposit will be pre-authorized on your payment method during your stay.

There is NO SMOKING allowed anywhere on our premises. It is strictly forbidden anywhere on our property and failure to comply may result in a penalty up to $1000. We really appreciate your cooperation on this.
No more than the stated number of guests in the reservation may stay overnight, unless agreed otherwise. Failure to report the accurate number of overnight guests may potentially result in an immediate cancellation of your stay.
No glass in or around the pool. This is for your own safety as well as the safety of future guests.
Please note that we do NOT allow parties or illegal drugs of any kind ANYWHERE on our property (inside or outside).
Late checkout beyond the scheduled check-out time will incur fees of $50 per hour - unless a different time has been agreed otherwise. We don't require you to clean after your stay - but at the same time please do not trash our home - we reserve the right to charge for additional cleaning fees if the property is left in a condition beyond what is reasonably expected.
We have zero tolerance for violations of house rules.

Summary: The good: -There were flowers on our arrival. Nice, -Pool and hot tub were excellent and warm and so much fun. We brought our own floaters and they don’t provide pool towels (as of when we went) -The kitchen appliances were really nice, the dishwasher was great (as the mom, this really matters!) -The kitchen was well stocked with dishes for cooking and eating. -The TVs are huge and new -There are two big hang out spaces (one on each floor) that were super comfortable (although not big enough to fit fifteen people together) -The outdoor spaces were great for hanging out The bad: -There were absolutely no useable boats and the lake is essentially useless without them. The lake is very shallow at the end of the dock so you really can’t jump in and there is no clear path to walk out of the water that isn’t weedy. None of the lake toys were in working order at all and it wasn’t addressed even though I complained. -The house is quite old. The floors are uneven, lots of paint chips, a window was broken, missing hardware, etc. I took pictures because I was afraid it would come back on me (given the $1500 deposit!!!). -Three of the bedrooms, while recently renovated, are in the basement. One doesn’t even have a window and the light switch was on the outside of the room. -There are NO BUNKBEDS anywhere despite it being in the listing multiple places. -In case you missed it, There is a caretaker who lives on site. 2 doors in the house connect to his space. We saw him every AM.
