Villa verde is a privately gated home nestled on the hillside above the tranquil landscape of the pacific ocean surrounded by almost 2 1/2 acres of beautifully landscaped tropical foliage as well as natural jungle with a small creek at the base of the property. Once inside the gates you will notice how the stress of your daily life begins to simply melt away. Let the incredible views along with the sounds and sites of nature, including the ocean waves, be your backdrop while you take a dip in the infinity edge salt water pool, enjoy outdoor cooking in the rancho with its own bar or pick your own fruit in season from the various fruit trees. This stunning villa (completed in 2015) includes 2 king size master suites with 2 1/2 baths (plus an outdoor shower by the pool) which will accommodate 4 people. There is also a separate guest house (completed in 2016) that has a small kitchen, bathroom with outdoor shower and a queen size bed that can be added to the villa accommodations for a nominal additional fee allowing the property to sleep 2 additional people. The total amount of people if renting the Villa and the Guest House is 6 people. It will be difficult to choose which master suite, since the upstairs has a private balcony for sipping morning coffee and the downstairs master has a huge two person bathtub which is separate from the shower. An open concept elegant living area with a dramatic spiral staircase leads up to the open loft made with exotic sustainable woods. The loft includes a fitness area and desk along with the comfortable fold down couch. Although the house was designed for good airflow with well placed windows, screen doors and ceiling fans, you may choose to use the high efficiency AC throughout the entire home. The villa has a gourmet kitchen with stainless steel high quality appliances, granite counter tops, wine refrigerator, ice maker, food processor, blender, rice cooker, coffee grinder and all the amenities to truly enjoy cooking in your villa. In this quiet remote jungle location you will enjoy wild monkeys, a variety of exotic birds, iguanas and of course olive ridley sea turtles at the nearby Ostional Sea Turtle Refuge. There are several restaurants within 15-20 mins from the villa, Luna Azul a 5 star, which is a favorite of ours, is 5 min away, there is pizza in Ostional, two very good international restaurants in San Juanillo, one beach bar/restuarant on the San Juanillo beach, 10-12 mins away and great restaurants in the Nosara area should you choose not to cook on your own. You also have the option of hiring a chef to prepare a dinner for you. There is a small gym upstairs and a yoga platform and meditation garden down by the wet weather creek surrounded by jungle and a natural garden, just right for a serene meditation or yoga workout. The adventures abound in this area, do not miss the longest zip line, Miss Sky, which is appx. 20 min. from the property. Deep sea fishing, snorkeling, paddle boarding and horseback riding are also available near by. You can also scuba dive with an experienced guide and spear fish. If you are interested in seeing a volcano this is a day trip to see. You can also have a masseuse come to the villa to give you a private couples massage or an individual one. Book a couples massage out on the patio by the pool in the morning and listen to the wildlife, infinity pool and drift away.
