This is a huge villa (270m² /2900 ft²), right next to the center of Rethymnon, with panoramic views of the sea and the castle very open and bright spaces, divided into two floors.
First floor
Has a huge terrace of 55m² / 590ft², with panoramic views of the sea and the castle and a second one surrounded by a lot of greenish.

Neighborhood
This is a quite neighborhood, as the house is next to a large field.
Down the road (600meters walk) there is a mini market for your basic supplies and a big supermarket 1klm away from home.
On the same road there is also a mini cafeteria that offers good quality and a big quantity of coffee, 2 of the top 5 restaurants in town and a really beautiful cocktail bar. All of them right next to the sea.
A bank ATM machine is available little before reaching the city center and also a big supermarket.
The best things you can do is either to go to the nearest beach on foot (about 5 minutes), or to the old town(3-5 minutes by car, about 20 minutes on foot).
In additional, you can surely enjoy the restaurants, cocktail bar and cafeteria.
There is plenty of space for parking your car or cars
There is a bus station located to the nearest road (500 meters away from the home)
The highway is also 5minutes away from home, so it is easy for you to travel around Crete by bus or by your car.
The nearest airport station is located in Chania (66klm away), the town next to Rethymnon, but there is also one in Heraklion
Ideal for families or group of friends.
It is a really romantic place, also suitable for one or more couples too.

Summary: Teo was an amazing host. He sat down with us and walked us through where everything we wanted to do was located on the island. Gave us some pointers of local spots as well. He recommended a local restaurant Staras that was hard to find but well worth it when we got there. He even left us some olive oil and wine that his family makes to enjoy. The picture of the view isn’t exactly the view you have off the balcony. There are buildings that block the view and the walk to the beach is more like a 15-20 minute walk. The beach is also very rocky and definitely not one of our favorites in Crete. The location is ideal being very close to the Old Town part of Rethymno. The place is self is in a quiet area outside of Rethymno. Most of the rooms are down a steep staircase with no handrail. There is a washer and there are several places to hang dry your clothes. Overall the location is ideal being within an hour from Chania, a little over an hour from Heraklion and 10 minutes from Old Town Rethymno. Teo was an amazing host, the place had plenty of room for our 8 guests.
