Positive: We loved the layout of the villa, the pool was amazing, the bedroom with en suite was clean and cosy and the seating space was comfortable. The kitchen area alongside the pool was adequate and we liked the way it was an indoor/ outdoor covered space. The grounds outside that the property that the small terrace/balcony adjacent to the seating space looked out over were beautifully maintained with a pond immediately below the balcony, it was a great place to drink your morning coffee or evening cocktail. We had a hire car which was necessary for getting around the island and the central location of the property made seeing all of the islands sights easy with nowhere taking very long to get to. If we have any criticism at all it would be that the wifi did not work at anytime while we were in the apartment and the kitchen wasn’t equipped for a western style of cooking, there were no frying pans or saucepans and there were no eating knives or microwave or oven plus we had no direct contact with the owner and no proper handover as to how things worked. However the owner did upgrade us to a better villa after the pool in our allocated villa developed a fault and for no extra cost and was in regular contact by text for arranging the linens to be changed. We took our own mosquito net for the bedroom, which was a blessing as the inside/outside nature of the villa and the pond outside meant there could be quite a few bugs of an evening and the geckos and frogs could be wonderfully quite noisy. The en suite bathrooms were spotlessly clean but be prepared there was no hot water in the showers but to be fair in 36+ degrees heat and 90% humidity this was a blessing rather than a curse. We need to mention the pool again, it was amazing and very welcome after it during the heat of the day.
Summary: We would not hesitate to return.
