Positive: Location is OK and the husband tried to compensate by making small talk with us, I appreciated it. Breakfast was also really good, the lady may be a bit rude but she can cook.
Negative: We booked a room in Villa Salvatore for one night because our flight arrived late in the evening. The day before I received a message from the host (in Italian) saying check-out would be from 10h (on Booking it says at 11h), and the person was not very nice about it when I questioned. Anyway, we arrived in Palermo. Check-in was supposed to be until 22h and I even shared our flight details so the staff could be prepared for our arrival, around 21h. We arrived and we were greeted very rudely by a lady, the owner, that spoke only Italian and explained our room very quickly and she went back inside. We ended up staying in a room that apparently had a shared bathroom - even though we didn’t see anyone, but we couldn’t know since she didn’t explain anything and what she did explain was in a language we don’t speak. We showed up for breakfast the next morning and we could confirm the lady continued to be rude and disinterested in catering for the guests needs. I never stayed in an accommodation with a host has hostil has this person. If you don’t like tourists, maybe it’s not a good idea to run a B&B.
