Positive: The villa was clean, modern, and very well-equipped – it had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The air conditioning and soundproofing made for a very peaceful and restful environment. I appreciated the fully equipped kitchen with a coffee machine, microwave, oven, stovetop, and kitchenware – ideal for self-catering. The washing machine and ironing facilities were a big plus, especially for a more extended stay. The outdoor dining area, terrace, and balcony offered a nice spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. It was nice to have extra-long beds, satellite channels, a flat-screen TV, and even access to an executive lounge – very thoughtful touches. The books and DVDs for children added a homely and family-friendly feel. Overall, the villa had a great layout, with a private entrance and a detached, ground-floor unit that gave a real sense of privacy and independence.
Negative: I was surprised that electricity usage was charged separately from the accommodation fee. This wasn’t clearly stated during the booking process and felt unusual compared to my other experiences on Booking.com, where all utilities are typically included. The lack of upfront transparency about this additional cost could be improved – it would have been better to know this in advance to avoid any confusion.
