Located in a small Provençal village, just minutes from Avignon, in a sought-after neighborhood in the city center of Entraigues-sur-la-Sorgue. Villa Monte Calvo is a friendly, warm, comfortable, and air-conditioned house that will provide you with a memorable family or friends stay.
Set in a green environment, the house has a calm atmosphere, has been completely renovated recently, and the facilities at your disposal are new.
Accommodation:
Our single-story house of 127 m2 with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 toilets offers all the necessary comfort for a great vacation. The interior decoration, cozy, elegant, and warm, will make you feel at home.
Designed for 8 people, a sofa bed in one room allows for a total of 10 people. In summer, you can make the most of the various outdoor facilities (garden, pool, terrace, outdoor lounge) accompanied by the sound of cicadas and the shade of plane mulberry trees. In winter, you can enjoy reading a book or playing board games in the warm atmosphere of the living room with the crackling of wood in the background. A petanque court and a ping-pong table promise good times in all seasons.
The nearest amenities in the city center of Entraigues-sur-la-Sorgue are a 5-minute walk away, as well as the typical market that takes place every Wednesday morning. A large shopping center is also accessible within a 10-minute drive.

Reversible air conditioning is located in the hallway leading to the bedrooms to maintain an optimal temperature in summer. In winter, each room can be heated with a radiator. The bedding in all rooms is new and of quality, ensuring a restful sleep. Each bedroom has a wardrobe, and all bedroom windows are equipped with shutters and mosquito nets.

Living Room:
The living room consists of a large living area with the dining area and the sitting area with a sofa, armchairs, and television, all opening directly onto a shaded terrace with outdoor seating and the garden with the pool. A reading and game corner around the wood-burning stove is available and very pleasant in winter. Air conditioning is provided to maintain an ideal temperature in the room.
Kitchen:
Adjacent to the living room and open to the outdoor dining table, the kitchen is fully equipped and also has air conditioning. It includes a new American fridge, a freezer, a new microwave, a convection oven, a dishwasher, induction hobs, a Dolce Gusto coffee machine, an electric coffee maker, a kettle, a toaster, and all the necessary utensils for cooking or BBQ.
Laundry Room:
The laundry room is in a room adjacent to the kitchen, a washing machine and ironing equipment will be available. There is also a second fridge if the one in the kitchen is not sufficient.
Exterior:
The fully enclosed 500 m2 exterior is divided into several parts: the terrace area, the garden area with the pool (open from May to the end of October), and the petanque court. You will always find a place suitable for your desires.
Terrace Area:
A shaded area with outdoor seating for "cozy" evenings.
A dining area with a large table and a large umbrella for shade all day if the olive tree's shade is not enough.
Garden Area:
The garden area will allow you to unwind after a day of exploring Provence or recharge if you decide to stay at Villa for one or more days during your stay. Giant poufs are available around the pool, as well as sun loungers from which you can see Mont Ventoux in the distance. The BBQ will be very useful for grilling. Note that a fence with designated spaces can be installed around the pool if you wish.
Petanque Area:
A petanque court and a ping-pong table are available to occupy your time at the Villa.
The ideal location will allow you to discover Provence in all its aspects:
- Avignon: 15 minutes is enough to discover the city of the popes.
- Southern Rhône Valley Vineyard: In just a 15-minute drive, you will enter what can be called the road of Provencal wines with world-renowned appellations (Châteauneuf du Pape, Gigondas, Beaumes-de-Venise, etc.).
- Mont Ventoux: 30 minutes is sufficient to reach the foot of Mont Ventoux and its typical villages (Bédoin, Malaucène...).
- Luberon: You will reach the villages of Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, Fontaine-de-Vaucluse in 30 minutes. They will give you access to the Luberon Park.
- Alpilles: You will reach the globally known town of Saint-Rémy de Provence in 30 minutes, and then the Alpilles Park will open up to you.
- Aix-en-Provence: It will take less than 1 hour to reach the city of Aix-en-Provence.
- Côte-Bleue Beaches: The first beaches of Côte-Bleue will be accessible in a little over 1 hour.

By Train:
- TER Station of Entraigues-sur-la-Sorgue: Located less than 1.5 km from the house, accessing the house will take about 15 minutes on foot.
- TGV Station of Avignon: Located about 15 km from the house, about 20 minutes by car will be necessary to reach the villa. Note that there is also a TER line allowing you to reach the Entraigues-sur-la-Sorgue station from the Avignon TGV station.
By Plane:
- Marseille: Marseille Provence Airport is located 79 km from the house, it takes about 1 hour by car.
- Montpellier: Montpellier Mediterranean Airport is located 105 km from the house, it takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes by car.

- Two cars can be parked in the driveway, and two others can park outside in front of each entrance to the house (the house is at the end of a private road).
