Positive: Villa Matten is nestled in a peaceful location with breathtaking views all around. It’s just a short walk from the Matten train station and a bus stop, making it easy to get around. We traveled with small luggage, and reaching the villa from the train station was hassle-free. Our host, Tony, was exceptionally friendly; he welcomed us, showed us around the property, and provided a complimentary Interlaken guest card. There are several restaurants within a 500-600 meter walk, and it's only about 1 km to Interlaken town. It’s an ideal spot for those traveling by train to Lauterbrunnen or Grindelwald. Highly recommend!
Negative: The only issue we encountered during our stay was with the shower; you need to be cautious, as it can wet the entire bathroom. However, if you make sure to close the curtain properly over the bathtub, you can easily avoid any mess.
