Summary: The house is very large on the outskirts of Lucca part way up a hillside in a forested setting, about 10 minutes from the Lucca wall. We enjoyed our two week stay there. The contact, Andrea, met us at the house, and explained every aspect of the property. And he checked in with us in person and by phone several times during our stay. The house contains four bedrooms and two bathrooms, both of which are upstairs, which necessitates climbing about 24 stairs to use them if you are on the first floor. The bedrooms have air conditioning which worked very well. The downstairs has a fully stocked kitchen, a large dining room and in the living room a big screen television, which was very useful in entertaining our young ones. The Internet worked very well. The property has several outdoor seating areas and tables for afternoon Spritzes. The property is gated with fencing all around, again a good feature if you have children. There are a number of good pizza and pasta restaurants within minutes of the property, and grocery stores are within a six minute drive. We very much enjoyed our stay and recommend the property highly.
