This gorgeous vacation villa is located in the south-western corner of Cape Coral near the Tarpon Point Marina. It is one of the best and most sought after residential areas of Cape Coral. The harbor at Tarpon Point is only a 10-minute walk away. Shops, doctors, pharmacies, etc. are within walking distance or accessible with the existing bicycles. This holiday home is especially suitable for families with children. The Camelot Park with its large playground is easily reached by bike. There are also 2 free tennis courts available, which are also lit in the evening. Of course, suitable equipment for playing tennis in the house is ready for you.
The house is located in a very quiet family home settlement at the end of a cul-de-sac. There is hardly any traffic.
The boat location of this house is fantastic. It not only offers fast boat access to the Gulf of Mexico (10 minutes) but also sailboat access. That means no bridge or tight spot prevents you from renting a big boat. The matching boat can be booked as an option to this house and will be handed over to you immediately on arrival by a knowledgeable boatman. Boat instructions and suitable tips will be on site.
Our villa was extensively renovated until April 2017. All furniture and appliances are new. The newly designed pool area is the highlight of this house. From the hot tub and pool you can enjoy the fantastic view of the canal intersection. Electric and solar heated, the pool brings the water to a comfortable temperature whatever the season, which you can choose for yourself. Due to the large solar panel, the additional heating with electric heater is rarely necessary. In addition to the Jacuzzi, the length of the pool offers enough space to swim a few laps in the morning.
From the elegant, light-flooded living room (with 50'LCD + DVD player) you can enjoy the view of the large pool, the wide channel intersection and the tropical garden. The glass sliding doors can be completely opened, so that sets a great interior-exterior feeling.
In addition to the large master bedroom (42'LCD) with king size bed and walk-in closet, you have another large bed in the second bedroom and a queen size bed in 3rd bedroom available.
In the master bedroom is the large bathroom with double vanity and spacious shower. From the guest bathroom with shower you have direct pool access.
Also from the completely new kitchen with oven, cooker with ceramic hob, fridge and microwave you have the fantastic pool and canal view. In addition to the standard filter coffee machine, a Nespresso coffee machine is available.
From the living room, dining room, master bedroom and the guest toilet there is direct access to the pool.
Furthermore, there is free high speed WiFi throughout the house.
There are 2 bicycles available to explore the area for free.

Summary: This home is in a good location in the South Cape and allows small dogs, which was attractive to us. The rooms are nicely decorated, although the dining furniture is older and cracked, peeling off faux leather pieces all over the floor. The master bedroom is large, but showers have very low water pressure and we ended up showering in the guest bath which was slightly better than the master. The A/C works fine in the main bedroom and living area, but doesn’t really reach the other side of the house, which makes it very warm in those other two bedrooms. The best part about this home is the pool and it’s lovely view overlooking the canals, which was definitely the key selling point for us. Unfortunately, during our stay we had to endure a very loud tile saw, hammering, and pressure washing about 5 feet away from our pool cage for several days of our booking, which made it very noisy and difficult to work inside, and the outside totally unusable. The property owner was not apologetic or accommodating when we complained about the disturbances and inability to use the pool and patio for one-third of our stay, and his response was, “this isn’t a resort”. Also, read the fine print about electric charges being owed after check out. We don’t run high electric bills, but it still cost an extra amount above what we already paid upon check out.
