Villa Luna is a very nice 5 bedroom villa located in the beautiful and peaceful area of Monte Estoril, a village adjacent to the lively town of Cascais. The beach, is just 500 meters away, about a 5 minute walk. The house is perfect for families and friends to visit our lovely country, enjoy it’s culture, and the many beaches nearby. You will experience our lovely climate, our hospitality and rich gastronomy. The house is located between Estoril and Cascais. We are about 15 minutes by car to beautiful Sintra nestled in the verdant Sintra mountain range. Sintra and the fantastic Palacio da Pena will make you feel like you are part of a fairytale. The house features a family style open kitchen, dining room and a pleasant sitting area with fireplace open to the rear garden with glass doors. The garden is perfect for extending family gatherings outdoors. Enter the front sunny patio and into a large living room with two distinct areas for either TV viewing or lounging. This floor features the master bedroom with private bath and two additional bedrooms, bathroom and powder room. All bedrooms on this floor have queen beds. The lower level has two bedrooms each with two single beds, and one bathroom. Kitchen, dining room and garden are also on this level. Villa Luna is equipped with internet WI-FI. Guests have access to the entire house and grounds, which includes the garden and a small laundry room accessed from the garden. I am here to assist you with anything you may need prior, during or after your reservation. I speak Portuguese, English, French and Spanish. Monte Estoril is 25 minutes by train to downtown Lisbon. Villa Luna is only at a short distance from the train station and beach (5 minute walk) and a 15 minute walk to the historic center of Cascais (5 minutes by car), where you’ll find more beaches, many restaurants, the marina and museums, boutique shops, hairdressers, parks and bakeries. There are supermarkets within close walking distance, bars, and restaurants. In Estoril, you have the biggest Casino of Europe, a luxurious Spa, nightclubs and restaurants. There are excellent golf courses near Cascais and Estoril. The fabulous Guincho beach, a 10 minute drive by car, as well as the Carcavelos beach, are great for surfing, body boarding, stand up boards, windsurfing and kite surfing. Villa Luna is well located to both Lisbon and the wonderful beaches, and yet still enjoy your own privacy in a quiet, upscale neighborhood. If you don’t want to rent a car, or if you don’t feel like walking, there are bicycles to rent in Estoril and Cascais with great paths for biking along the ocean. Lisbon can be reached by train (a 25 minute ride) .
