The villa is easily reachable from Catania airport by taking the highway to Syracuse and taking the first Lentini exit. Once you exit the highway, continue left towards Siracusa - SS 114, following the yellow arrow Agnone Bagni. The entrance to the town is along the aforementioned State Road 114 in front of the Esso supply, immediately after the sign indicating km 123 (about 5 km from the highway exit). The house has an area of 90 m², has 2 double bedrooms, living room, bathroom with shower, kitchen with fridge, freezer, washing machine and dishes. The house, equipped with a garden, deck chairs, umbrella, and large outdoor terraces, is located in an exclusive and reserved area a few steps from the sea, halfway between Catania and Syracuse and enjoys a splendid view of Etna. The villa is rented both in weeks and months. In September and October the weather is still beautiful in Sicily and it will be possible to take advantage of discounts on rates.

Summary: We stayed as a family in August 2018 one week in the holiday house between Catania and Siracusa. The house was very clean, spacious and well equipped. Even in the kitchen there are all utensils for self-cooking. The owner was very friendly and helpfull and although he stays in Catania we could ask him any questions per whattsapp. The house is situated in a small village, there are no shopping facilities and restaurants, so we recommend a hire car. After a few minutes walk you can reach a small sandy beach, a few minutes walk more you can find a stony beach, where it is nice for snorkeling and you also can jump from the cliffs into the water. It`s quite a fun for children. Also there are umbrellas and chairs, which you can use for the beach. The location of the holiday house is excellent, when you want to visit the Etna or if you want to go sightseeing in Catania or Siracusa, even the long and sandy beaches in the south of Siracusa are not far away. The only negative was that the neighborhood was quite noisy sometimes. There was loud music and Karaoke singing till midnight. And there is no WiFi.
