Summary: Our family recently returned from a wonderful holiday in Italy. We cannot say enough good things about the Villa Le Celle del Faraino and its wonderful owner, Mauro! There were ten adults and two small children in our group and the house easily accommodated all of us. We needed an extra crib and Mauro was gracious enough to insure that there were two in the house at our arrival. The house is spacious, clean, and comfortable. The grounds were amazingly beautiful. One of the highlights of the trip was having Mauro's son, Federico, cook us an authentic Tuscan meal. It was a family affair; even Mauro's lovely wife, Rossanna, helped. Another night the Tarquini family made the most wonderful pizza, cooked in the brick oven on the patio. The villa is well-located for touring throughout Tuscany; the train station is easily accessible. But you will definitely want to rent a car! We enjoyed Cortona, which is very nearby, and visited the weekly market in Camucia - but we also took day trips to Florence, Pisa, and Rome. There are also some wonderful vineyards in the area (some of our party especially enjoyed the Azienda Agricola Leuta winery). But the villa itself was the highlight of the trip. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. We highly recommend this property!
