The décor is traditional Moroccan Andalusian style with an international and eclectic twist with modern conveniences and well-equipped. Wonderful views over the open Atlantic with fantastic skies and sunsets. A haven of peace and calm yet just 15 minutes drive from the iconic town of Essaouira with its fascinating Medina, arts and crafts, lots of great eateries and famous musical festivals, and a favourite for those into watersports.
Resident staff provide basic cleaning and for an extra fee you can also have laundry, extra help with cooking and other services if required.
A lovely large outdoor saltwater pool with adjacent Jacuzzi spa and big poolside room. Heating is free in the summer months but a daily charge for heating if required in the winter and colder months.
When we're here ourselves we're happy to socialize or to leave guests to themselves, whichever they prefer.
We're surrounded by protected thuya forest and there are several ways to walk down to the beach, which is about a 45 minute ramble. Very peaceful and unspoilt with neighbours all having large plots of land, so no one too nearby and uninterrupted sea views.
You'll need a car as we're located 1km down an unmade road from the main coastal road to Safi. Essaouira is just 15 minutes away, where there's a Carrefour (which has a large off-licence section) just on the edge of the town, and a large Aswak Al Salam supermarket. There are large and small taxis, and also caleches on the main street that runs parallel with the coast outside the Medina and port.
There's an outdoor dog on site who's very friendly and good with children. A trampoline will be installed in the garden this summer (2018). We can also put guests in touch with the best and most reliable car rental company in Essaouira who give special rates to our visitors. They can arrange pick up and drop off to all major airports, as well as the small local Essaouira airport, which is less than 30 minutes from Villa Habibi.
