Positive: This property gave us everything we could have hoped for; spectacular location, quirky and comfortable! All the different sun terraces gave everyone a variety of spaces to chill out and beautiful beach coves were only 2 and 4 mins walk from the front gate. Within 15mins we could walk into the lovely town of Jelsa and we also had use of 4 bikes for adventures along the coast. We loved the barbecue area and the fan over the immense dining table. The managers were always available and very helpful. Croatia is not a cheap destination nowadays but the quality of our experience was first class.
Negative: It’s hard to think of anything I didn’t like but if I could suggest one small improvement I’d say add a fan into the kitchen ceiling. Only the bedrooms have AC and in 38degrees it’s tough going in the kitchen when you are trying to cook.
Summary: Villa Gallus is superbly located, magical place to stay.
