Positive: Relatively comfortable, reasonably well equipped. Attentive, responsive host.
Negative: The property description clearly states "Villa Flamboyan in Yaiza offers direct beachfront access". This is not true. It is a 15min walk or a 3min drive from the closest beach. It is listed as having air conditioning, which it does but only in one of the three bedrooms - the other two have ceiling fans which are much less effective at keeping guests cool at night. Whilst acceptable, relative to the photos, the place is a little shabby - the kitchen cabinets are worn, whilst staying there was a fault with the oven and the only working air conditioning unit upstairs which both needed visits by technicians to be fixed. There is paint flaking off the walls outside and there are missing tiles in the pool and flaking paint in the bottom. The place needs a good refresh at the end of the season to live up to the photos as presented. The location is surrounded by villas under construction which makes it a little unpleasant when travelling back and forth.
Summary: Nice, but not as nice as presented in the photos. Clearly inaccurate description - NOT "beachfront"
