Summary: Getting over the bridge took a while (long queues) but when we saw the property we were very pleased. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Plenty of room inside and outside. The bed was comfy and the ensuite shower great. Loved the hot tub, which was one of the main reasons we chose here! There were good bars and restaurants within walking distance along with a fantastic bakers!! The island had plenty of sites for us to visit and really enjoyed taking the boat to La Rochelle. Be aware of the number of bikes on the roads, never seen so many! May be if we come back we'll hire some and join in. A great holiday destination.
