Summary: My son and daughter took me for my 80th birthday celebration on a 2 week trip to Italy, driving from Venice down past Marche to Abruzzo and then Rome. . By far, my best stay was Northwest of Rimini at The Villa Rimini. The night after arriving I was ushered outside to find 20 local Italians rushing to hug me. “Happy Birthday Bill” continued to ring throughout the night. Those 5 hours will live in my memory forever: the proverbial Italian dinner all Americans have seen on tv and wished they could enjoy. And enjoy I did!! Few spoke English, but before dinner ended, all were part of my new family. And the food! I’m sure Enzo and Tonina won’t be able to duplicate that festival of goodness for all their guests, but know that they will always go out of their way to make everyone happy and comfortable I recommend you visit Villa Rimini-you too will leave smiling and saying; gracie, ti voglio bene.
