Our villa, situated within a gated compound on over an acre of land, has amazing views from our hilltop perch, overlooking a lush jungle with stunning hiking trails, mountains, a salt and fresh water lagoon, a sparking bay and is just steps away from a safe beach, perfect for swimming. Wander the beautifully landscaped property, picking fresh avocados, limes, bananas, papayas and mangos from our trees, or sit beneath the coconut palms surrounded by tropical plants and have an afternoon siesta. Relax on our expansive patio and watch nature¹s theater unfold before you, as wild parrots and other tropical birds dart in and out from the surrounding jungle to bathe in our majestic fountain. Our villa is a secluded paradise yet easily accessible to restaurants, beautiful beaches and all of the beauty that Manzanillo and the surrounding areas have to offer. For larger groups or retreats, Villa Copa de Oro provides the perfect setting for business gatherings requiring space for group sessions with various breakout areas, abundant privacy and lush tranquil surroundings. GOLF COURSES: Are you or is someone in your group a golfer? We have five beautiful golf courses: El Tamarindo, an 18-hole course known for its beauty and ocean views is an hour away. Isla Navidad, a 27-hole course is only 20 miles away with beautiful ocean and lagoon views and a great clubhouse with a restaurant, as well as small boats to take you across to Barra de Navidad for a leisurely lunch in one of several restaurants overlooking the large lagoon and the ocean. Las Hadas, our local version of Disney World, is an 18-hole course with breathtaking ocean views. Club Santiago, 9-hole course is just minutes away. Corazon de Manzanillo, is our newest 18-hole course and is 2 miles away. It too is on the ocean and has tropical views, with a clubhouse and restaurant. Manzanillo is truly a hidden golfers paradise! HOUSEKEEPER AND CARETAKER: Connie, our longtime trusted housekeeper and manager arrives early each day and is always ready to assist you with a smile and warm embrace. Nothing is left undone! She will wash and iron your clothes and organize whatever you ask of her. Augustine, our longtime gardener and caretaker, will carry in your bags, cleans the pool, tend the garden and assist you with anything that you need at Copa de Oro. BEACH CLUB: We belong to a wonderful nearby beach club, minutes away from our villa with a restaurant, lounges, tables, chairs, and beach toys available for rent. There are nice showers and lovely grounds and it is available to you at no charge as a guest of Copa de Oro. TRAVEL: Fly to Manzanillo International Airport (ZLO) from many points worldwide. Bus: Great buses are available from Guadalajara and Puerto Vallarta. Guadalajara has one every hour, direct to Manzanillo. Villa Copa de Oro is a 3.5 hour drive south from Puerto Vallarta 3.0 hour drive west from Guadalajara.
