Its quiet location is also very convenient to exploring all that historic Merida has to offer.
Being of totallynew construction, this home benefits from all new electrical and plumbing systems for none of the worries of a traditional colonial home. All on one level, the 4 bedroom home is situated on a very large 1,200 square meter lot and even has a 2-car automated garage if you should have, or decide to rent, a vehicle. Entering the home, which sits tucked back away from the street, you will be awed by the spaciousness of the expansive rooms and the tall ceilings. You will also see the beautiful inlaid pasta tiles and use of skylights throughout the home. The selection of colors used in both the paint and decoration of the home blend well with the garden surroundings. Just past the foyer and off of the wide entry hall are three large bedrooms, each with ensuite bathrooms and their own outdoor garden spaces to provide greenery, air and natural light. The third bedroom has features a walk-in closet. The bathroom of the left-hand suite also serves as a guest bath with a second entrance from the foyer.
Next, you enter a truly grand and open space which contains the massive living room, dining room, and kitchen with garden views on three sides. This space also includes a comfortable living area and media space with a 55 inch, 4K Smart television complete with a Roku system supplying US and Canadian cable stations so that you can stay up to date and won't miss any important sporting events while travelling. The kitchen is fully-equipped with all new appliances, a large center island with bar seating, ample cabinetry, all dishes and cutlery, and even a cavernous walk-in butler's pantry. Expansive glass doors in this area work to increase the open feeling of the living space and lead to the covered outdoor living areas and large pool surrounded by low-maintenance gardens and a mature shade tree. The enormous 17 foot by 50 foot pool is at the center of this outdoor area and features a shallow sitting area for entertaining which stretches its entire length. There is still plenty of extra, covered entertainment room for unwinding with your family and friends or newly made acquaintances, as well as a tiled fountain for soothing sounds of falling water to further relax your group following a day of exploration. Past this area is the secluded master suite which is extremely spacious. Separate from the other bedrooms and living areas, this master retreat offers plenty of space, a walk-in closet, ensuite bathroom with garden views, and even its own private patio for enjoying a good book or your morning coffee.
Flowering plants and other greenery are always visible from within the home. Villa Azul alsohas ceiling fans and air conditioning throughout for year roundcomfort and two pressurized water systems.
