Autumn brings cool temperatures and blazing colors of our extensive hardwood forests.

Summary: This is the second time we have stayed in a home in North Point, and we love the location vis-a-vis the nearby towns and state parks. This year we came for Thanksgiving week, and were very cozy in this house while the snow came down outside. Please note, if traveling in winter four wheel drive is advisable! With that said, the house was clean and comfortable, the hot tub was fully functional (as was everything else in the house), and we had what we needed in the house. Oh, and the house name - Viewtopia - is well earned! The view is absolutely lovely and makes for a serene environment. Please note a couple things: first, the beds are quite firm and take some getting used to if that isn't your cup of tea; second, you will walk up steps while you settle into this property. I suggest carrying items in through the first (bottom level), and only taking what you need upstairs. Finally, this is a rental home so there is some normal wear and tear. That said, we still recommend this house as an excellent option.
