Summary: This is a really great place to stay. It is an authentic colonial style mansion in the best possible sense. Everything is tastefull and in great condition, and the staff is english speaking and very friendly and helpfull. The outdoor areas are awsome and invite you to relax after a hot day in luang prabang. The pool is over the top, done in italian style marble. Yes. It is a few minutes from the center, but it is really worth it, and the hotel provides a shuttle service.
