This comfortably furnished home is ideal for relaxing after a day on the water. 3 bedrooms--all with water views, gourmet kitchen overlooking Black Sound, free WiFi, DirecTV and central A/C to keep you connected to the 'real world', or you can ignore it all and just spend hours on the wrap around porches, taking in the views of ocean, beach and sound. The private dock can accommodate up to two 50 foot vessels each drawing up to 6' plus one runabout. The dock must be reserved at the time you book your reservation. Bring your own boat or rent one from one of the local companies and go island hopping. Take a golf cart ride to explore Green Turtle, including the quaint settlement of New Plymouth, less than one mile from the house, where you can find restaurants, bars, gift shops, a museum, and more. Head to Brendal's Dive Center for SCUBA, snorkeling, eco-tours, and kayak rental. Just steps to the secluded beach at Gilliam Bay where you can walk for nearly 3 miles around the sand bar and adjacent flats, shelling, casting a fly line for bone fish, bird watching, or just resting on the sugar-fine sand, soaking up the amazing views. Want more activity? Try paddle boarding, kayaking or wind surfing in the bay. Stroll downtown to find numerous family owned restaurants serving local dishes and bars offering Bahamian beers, rum drinks with views of the sea all around. Take a golf cart or boat to the Green Turtle Club for gourmet food and dancing under the stars. Transportation on Green Turtle Cay is by foot or on golf carts. Island Property Management can arrange for a golf cart rental. The property is less than a mile from the island village of New Plymouth where you can find groceries, restaurants, bars, shops and churches. Our team will meet you at the dock to give you the keys. Flights to Marsh Harbour (MHH) airport are numerous and a 40 minute cab ride to the Green Turtle Ferry Dock where you can get a ferry to Green Turtle Cay every hour on the half hour. Flights to Treasure Cay (TCB) airport are less frequent and a 2 minute cab ride to the ferry dock. Tell the Ferry Captain that you are staying at Van Dyke House. They will deliver you to our dock where the local caretaker will meet you. You will need a passport to enter the country and will clear customs at either airport
