In the climatic health resort Schönwald, at an altitude of over 1000 m above sea level, we rent our modernly furnished apartment with balcony. The apartment is suitable for 2 people, it is on the first floor and has a wonderful view. Schönwald is one of the highest closed locations in Germany. The place is surrounded by meadows, pastures and forests. In the immediate vicinity of the apartment you will find shops such as B. Bakers, butchers, restaurants and grocers as well as hiking trails, cross-country trails, indoor and outdoor pools. For skiing, sledding and snowboarding, 1 km of slopes are available. The winter sports area lies at an altitude of 991m to 1045m.
We offer a bright non-smoking apartment on 25 square meters with a balcony. It has a separate kitchen, bathroom with shower and an appealing living / bedroom with double bed, the apartment is rented without bed linen and towels. Free WiFi, television and free use of the swimming pool within the resort complete the offer. Use of the sauna is also possible for a fee. You need 1 euro pieces for the coin device.
Please pay the visitor's tax on site. It is 2.50 euros per night.
Washer and dryer are available as coin-operated devices in the common room, you need 50 cents to use them.
A laundry package (bed linen, sheets, towels, bath towels and dish towels) is available for a fee of EUR 12.00 per person, please order the laundry package after your booking. Payment is made upon arrival.

Summary: One of 20 airbnb’s or vrbo’s we stayed at on this trip. Clean and modern and the complex was almost empty. Good restaurant nearby..... but overall This one was weird. Hidden in the amenities section is a fee for sheets and towels. Have never encountered this. Plus a cleaning fee and deposit. Had to communicate with at least 3 different girls via text to arrive and depart. They sort of expect You to arrive and leave at precisely at a pre arrranged time yet don’t mention the road construction detour that add’s about 45 minutes onto drive. Then one of them texts and wants to know exactly when we are leaving so she can meet us there to inspect and make sure it is clean and undamagged? Once again, unique to this place, I mean, I am on vacation,,,I will leave when I feel like it as long as it is before check out time. Plus clean? You charged me a 50?, 60?, 80? Euro cleaning fee????? So some girl I never even met shows up, I had washed 2 cereal bowls and was letting them air dry in the dish drying thing and I think she said like,,,”oh, totally unacceptable or this will not do”. She had to call some other girl,,talked excitedly in German, and finally said “you may go now”. Like i was under house arrrest or something. I can’t remember it certainly made me feel like why did I clean up even after i Paid a cleaning fee. But I want to say great things about the girl who checked us in,,,the next day I locked us out and she zipped over with a key. Thank you!! I wasn’t even going to write review but ou of the blue like weeks latter I get this email from Vrbo telling me to leave a review so,,,plus the ad said something bout the little town having a semi famous spa but it turned out to be under construction or repair,,,I think that is why the complex was so quiet. Decent place for the Black Forest if you want small town environment.
