Beautiful and unusual home with sweeping spaces and high ceilings for stays a minimum of 4 days. It has a high convenience rating in Washington near shops and the red line Cleveland Park and the zoo. It features a lovely receiving area with columns, open dining room overlooking trees, and the second floor looks at the unique skyline of 16th Street The home has high ceilings, wood floors, 3 bedrooms, giant master bath, and wooded views. There is a large deck for entertaining and no steps coming in ! The floors are wood and the windows are many to take advantage of the sunny southern exposure. There are only 6 houses in this cul de sac and it has a private staircase to Porter Street for easy access on foot to the shopping and metro at the top of the hill.on Connecticut Ave. A car is not necessary although there is plenty of parking on the property. It is near the , the Exxon, , restaurants, groceries, and shopping ! The National Zoo is nearby and worth a visit in itself!

Summary: We were there for our granddaughters graduation from college. Our son and grandkids live nearby and we have another granddaughter in college in the DC area. This was a great place for the family to get together between events. The home had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again!
