Summary: This properly is located across from public beach access - great. The house itself has issues. Two holes in the interior walls. Lights in the detached bedroom downstairs wouldn’t work due to water leaks from the showers on the main floor causing the breaker to trip, so kids had no lights. The pool is sandy and the pool lights come on around 10:30pm on random days. There’s no way to adjust them. The front door handle is broken and won’t stay on. The kitchen faucet leaked. Not enough dinnerware for 15 people, 3 coffee mugs, 8 tumblers, no prep cutlery, toaster oven was broken, and not enough cookware; it’s not a fully stocked kitchen. The host was notified our first day Tues about the door handle and the lights.The host replied that someone would come by but no one came. Thursday we called the host about the issues and mentioned reviews and we got a call back within 15 min. The rep said she would send someone over immediately and the maintenance person did come by. We showed him the issues and he said that they were reported last week by another family but he needed to call the plumber and the door handle person for repairs. So nothing was ever fixed while we were there and we didn’t get any follow up from the host. Also, front doors are glass so blinds or curtains would be nice. I gave 2 stars for the location but this stay was not worth nearly $8000 for 4 nights. We’re very disappointed with our stay and won’t come back to this one.
