Cable televisions are located in the living room and master suite; both have access to the screened-in lanai. The living room has new designer sofas. One opens to a sleeper sofa, which accommodates two guests, making the condo a perfect vacation for six! This Island home is not your typical rental. This unit is for those who appreciate beauty inside and out. Retreat 21 is located in the upscale residential community of Rum Point. This area has become one of the hottest destinations for overseas guests to stay. The water is safe for family swimming. Offering all the charm of the way the Caribbean used to be and still is! Just 35 minutes away from the cosmopolitan amenities of Georgetown and the airport. Retreat 21 at Rum Point is located at what many consider THE best spot on Grand Cayman. This small 23 unit complex is lushly landscaped with a tennis court, gym, and beautiful swimming pool. Retreat 21 is located on the 2nd floor. You'll wake up to magnificent sunrises, while enjoying the tropical sea breeze in the screened-in lanai. With 1300 feet of beautiful white, sandy beach frontage, the calm turquoise water of The North Sound is just steps away. Enjoy some Rum Punch while relaxing on the provided lounge chairs, and perhaps you will catch a glimpse of the 'Green Flash' during the incredible beach-front sunsets. When not lounging, plenty of water sports are available. The management rents kayaks for exploring Starfish Point. Right next door is Red Sail Sports Watersports. They offer wave runners, paddle boards, sail boats, and can arrange tours to Stingray City or Biolumenescent kayak tours. Fantastic snorkeling is just to the right outside of the complex. One can swim or wade in the shallow, CRYSTAL CLEAR water with EASY sandy access, DIRECTLY in front of The Retreat. Next door is an AMAZING 5-STAR restaurant, The Restaurant at Rum Point. For out-of-this-world tropical drinks and tasty lunches, The Wreck Bar and Grill cannot be beat. There is even a gift shop/clothing boutique located at Rum Point, complete with an ATM. We have two bikes available for use of our guests. The Retreat also rents bicycles for adventurous land lubbers. The living room has a full entertainment center, Bose Stereo system, and an extensive CD collection to listen and relax to. Plenty of books to enjoy kicking back on the beach. There is also a movie collection to have your own movie night. Turn down the lights, make some popcorn and enjoy your movie. WIFI access available. The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped. European designed with dinnerware imported from England and Germany. There is a separate bar located within the condo. Waterford Crystal glassware for the evening drinks on the lanai overlooking the vast ocean Just off the kitchen is a half bathroom and laundry room. The condo is well appointed with ample linens, towels and storage. The maid service is excellent! Also located within the condo, we supply snorkels, flippers, swim toys, and floats. We also have our own tennis rackets and balls for the tennis lovers and the use of owners' two bikes for jaunts to Starfish Point. Retreat 21 not only meets the yearly inspection by the Cayman Island Department of Tourism, but exceeds their standards.
