Situated along the popular and ultra charming Wilmington Riverwalk, this beautifully renovated condo is situated in the perfect historic district location, quiet and peaceful, yet in the center of the amazing waterfront Historic District two short blocks from Market St. Included with your vacation rental is a complimentary, unassigned parking space three and a half blocks away on First Street and Market Street, allowing you to explore the amazing sights and attractions with ease. So take a stroll or a horse-drawn carriage ride through the tree-lined mansion avenues and the bustling retail area with great restaurants, lively bars, art galleries, antique shops, nooks selling local artisan crafts, aromatic coffee houses, gelato and ice cream parlors, gourmet food shops and much more. Consider an evening concert under the stars with a big name band at the outdoor amphitheater or join in the sunset music celebration at the marina, both located at the north end of the Riverwalk. Everything is within walking distance! After a fun day out and about, kick back on your own private deck overlooking the river to catch a stunning sunset with a glass of wine.
Once an art gallery, this unique condo has been designed to honor its artistic history. Beautiful hand-carved furnishings, antique heart pine floors and high ceilings of acacia wood and even a large free-standing cast-iron tub all serve to create a warm, cozy interior space. And then there's the large, fully furnished and fenced deck, a very rare find for a vacation rental along the two-mile riverwalk! The well-equipped kitchen features everything you need to prepare home-cooked meals. When it's time to eat, head out to the deck to dine while riverboats leisurely cruise by. The bedroom is furnished with a high-end, ultra comfortable king mattress and designer cotton linens. A very comfortable full-size six-inch thick foam Japanese floor mattress with bedding is supplied for an extra guest. Ceiling fans and Smart TVs are located in the living room and bedroom. For your service or therapy dog, you'll find paw-printed flat sheets in the bedroom closet.
Wilmington is lined with beautiful beaches and the intra-coastal waterway just minutes from the historic riverfront, so head out early one morning to enjoy a crisp sunrise and a leisurely walk along the water, followed by a yummy breakfast and a great day in the sun, sand, and waves. Beach towels with a beach bag are supplied for added convenience.
