Summary: Reserved Unit #105 for a family of 4. Two days before the trip we were asked to move to another unit because the current occupants wanted to extend their trip. After some back and forth we were given Unit #168. It was even better than our original booking. The unit is steps away from the pool and beach. Check in was easy and Carlos did a wonderful job with arranging activities for us while we were there. The place had a restaurant which had good food and was convenient for times we didn’t feel like leaving the property. The marina is a ten minute walk from the property. It was easy for the kids to manage and we felt safe in the neighborhood at all times, even in the evenings when it was dark. My only complaint would be with the pool area. My kids wanted to throw a ball back and forth in the pool which was against the rules. I allowed them to do this as long as no one else was in the pool, which was pretty often. The resort has many elderly occupants who live there for extended periods of time and complained to staff the kids were breaking this rule even when they weren’t using the pool. That was kind of annoying but overall didn’t affect the time we spent hanging out there. I would recommend this property if you’re looking for a relaxing, family friendly place but if you’re wanting a more party atmosphere, it probably wouldn’t be the best option.
