Located in one of Palmetto’s most serene and peaceful neighborhoods is this exquisite floating home.
This floating home one of the most unique homes you will encounter. Built in 2004, for over a million dollars, as a wedding chapel that held 110 guests. There are only two built in the world. The other one is in Australia.
In 2015, Sam & Linda Cribbs transformed the chapel into a stunning 2 bedrooms / 2 baths private resident. All original stained glass windows were preserved. 19 foot cathedral ceilings only add to the wow factor. Spiral stairway leads to sleeping loft. Master suite has a large closet. Hardwood and tile floors, granite counters, stainless steel appliances and leather furniture.
Enjoy a morning cup of coffee or an evening glass of wine on the deck while soaking up the beautiful scenery right at your door step. There is always a nice breeze so there aren't mosquitos.
Regatta Pointe Marina has 2 great restaurants and bars with entertainment, ice cream parlor, swimming pool, Jacuzzi, outdoor shower, work out facility, laundromat and media room. At the end of the pier you can sign up for sight seeing cruises or sport fishing tours.
Outdoor amenities include lounge chairs, dining table, front porch seating and gas barbecue. There is a laundromat located just steps away from the property.
This home is centrally located in the Palmetto Historic District with easy access to Tampa Bay, IMG and beautiful beaches, while dining, theme parks, museums, shops and night life are moments away. We are minutes from the Sarasota Bradenton Airport or Tampa International Airport.

Summary: Our family stayed at the Floating Chapel in May and had to come again in October! It is so beautiful and relaxing to be on the water in the marina. The accommodations are 5 star and the hosts so helpful and kind. A truly special place for my husband and I to hideaway with our adult kids for a few days.
