Truffle Cottage is a unique octagonal cottage located 10 minutes walk to the centre of Chichester. It is perfect for people looking to enjoy both the buzz of the city and the peacefullness of the nearby countryside. The cottage has a lovely living area with a woodburning stove at the centre and a full dining room area. There is a galley style kitchen with all modern conveniences with additional useful appliances available in the outbuilding. Also on the ground floor, you will find a large single room and the luxurious modern bathroom with a large shower, wc and basin. There is a wooden ladder staircase to the the principal bedroom which is found on the first floor (please note that the staircase is fairly steep). There is a king size bed available and a lovely dressing room area providing useful storage with fitted wardrobes and a dressing table. There are 2 garden areas with the rear deck area perfect to enjoy an evening glass of wine or a morning coffee and an additional lawned area to the front of the cottage. There is parking available for one car on a gravelled driveway. Truffle Cottage is an ideal base to enjoy everything that this area has to offer with its location just ten minutes walk from the centre of Chichester and a short drive to the Sussex coast. Chichester is a vibrant city with a great mix of cultural and historical attractions as well as a plethora of restaurants and bars. The city centre is neatly enclosed within the ancient city walls which helps to make Chichester compact and pleasant to explore on foot. Just 10 minutes drive from Truffle Cottage and you can be at the Goodwood Estate which offers an impressive range of activities including golf, horseracing and motor sports with several prestigious events held throughout the year such as Glorious Goodwood and the Goodwood Revival. Alternatively you can just enjoy the stunning surroundings of the estate and take a stroll up to Trundle Hill which offers spectacular views back to the city as well as a great view over Goodwood Racecourse. A short drive of twenty minutes and you will be at West Witterings enjoying the lovely Blue Flag beach which has sandy beaches as far as the eye can see!
