Rustic Pine Log Cabin is on an Island in the middle of Bull Lake, with great views, restaurant/dining in the area, also boat dock conveniently located on the island. You’ll love the Rustic Pine Cabin because of the coziness, the high ceilings, the views, and the Great "Big Sky" Montana feeling. Rustic Pine is great for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), big groups, and furry friends (small dogs considered). To have a true "Montana Experience" you can't beat a Log Cabin. This is a "5" star Rustic cabin with modern amenities, not a "5" star Resort. The area offers over 2 million acres of public lands for outdoor recreation use. The Kootenai National Forest has hundreds of miles of hiking trails and many scenic places, with wildflowers and huckleberries nearby. High mountain lakes, miles of streams, and the Kootenai River beckon the angler. 90-mile long Lake Koocanusa is a major attraction to boaters and lake fishermen. The area has great hunting for deer, elk, moose, bear and mountain sheep with many local Outfitters & Guides available for out-of-state fun seekers. The area has a small downhill ski area, and miles of back-country roads for X-Country skiing and snowmobiling. Whatever the season, there's plenty of things to do here! All spaces can be accessed by our guest. Upper and lower level, and the guest cabin. You also have access to the boat ramp, marina and beach. We even provide a canoe for our guest so you can experience everything Bull Lake offers! Feel free to bring your boat (we do provide a canoe for guest use). You can access Bull Lake from the community boat ramp, or other waterways throughout the area. Make sure you review all State and local rules and regulations. Please remove your shoes in the carpeted areas inside the cabin. "Be Bear Aware" Garbage MUST be taken to the community disposal location at the Troy Mine Rd 4.5 miles north on Bull Lake Rd. Please do not leave garbage outside. Public restroom two (1/2 Baths) across from cabin. Bull Lake is a pristine lake located west of Libby and just south east of Troy about 15 miles. It is located near the Cabinet Mountain Wilderness. The lake is primarily private ownership. There is 37% Public Land. The surface area is 1,162.4 acres. Shore line of 12.1 miles. The lake is 64 feet at maximum. Elevation on the lake is 2319 feet. To reach this lovely area drive on Hwy. 2 to state Hwy. 56. Take Hwy 56, drive about 15 miles, and Angel Island is marked with a road sign. The lake contains various types of trout (Brook, Cutthroat, Lake, Rainbow) and pike.
