Trough Creek Laurel Lodge is a beautiful five bedroom and three bath mountain home built on 2.25 acres and available for your family vacation, family reunion, or small church retreat. The lodge was designed and built by Judd and Susan Buckwalter and their children in 2011. It was important to them that the design of the lodge would provide a classic rustic experience where multiple families could vacation together, making new memories and strengthening relationships. Planning your vacation is effortless as the lodge is located only several minutes from Tatman Run boat launch and swim area on Raystown Lake, and Trough Creek State Park. The lodge is a traditional stick built home with cypress wood siding on the outside and knotty pine tongue and groove boards on the interior walls. The ceiling height is 25' to the exposed hemlock ridgepole and rafters creating an extraordinary open lodge feeling. The main living area boasts an 8' foot wide stone fireplace, dining table and living room seating for twelve, and fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher. The lodge will sleep up to twenty people. There are five bedrooms consisting of eight full size beds and six single size bunks. For your entertainment we have provided a brand new oak pool table by Heirloom Billards in Strasburg, Pa, foosball table, ping pong table, high style hickory card table, and 46' flat screen television with DVD player and a variety of DVD's (no cable). For your convenience a washer and dryer are provided. Raystown lake is an 8,000 acre lake.
