Positive: The place is spacious, the kitchen is well equipped, the washing machine seems rather new, the dishwasher is a bit small and hidden under the sink, but it works just fine. The internet wifi is excellent. The view from the balcony is simply flabbergasting, especially at night when you can see all the lights in the valley. There is a huge park filled with shadowy trees that protect from the summer heat. Your dog (if you have one) will love walks there. The hosts were very helpful and the neighbors in the house were friendly.
Negative: We didn't mind, but you should be aware that the apartment is on the fifth floor (85 steps and no elevator). Just as most of Trieste, this is not an easy place if your legs won't carry you.
