A few minutes from the quaint hamlet of Roxbury with its delicious bistros and trendy shops, you’ll climb up a few mountain roads to arrive to TREE TOPS RETREAT where rejuvenation awaits you. Located in a PRIME LOCATION, the cabin is 15 min from Belleayre Ski Center in the winter, Belleayre Beach in the summer, and 20-min from Plattekill Mountain Ski Center. When you stay at Tree Tops, you can have the best of both worlds with first class dinning nearby (Andes — Wayside Cider, Roxbury — The Fierce Grizzly, Delhi — Hollow, and Big Indian — Peekamoose just to name a few), and immersion in the natural world with complete privacy.

Main Floor
The foyer has radiant heating to keep your feet warm after a long day on the slopes. It has a full bathroom with a walk-in shower. A glass door separates the entry from the main living area making sure the house stays pleasantly warm even on the coldest days. Once inside, an open concept kitchen leading out to the deck and overlooking the forest is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare and serve meals. The dining area has seating for the whole group and gives an impeccable view of the forest.
The living room is made for lounging, gathering and rest. With a bluestone fireplace, TV, plush seating and fantastic view it's a room for fun and relaxation. Sit around the table and play a game or have a nightcap, take a nap on the sofa after a long day of sightseeing. Start your day in front of the fire with a steaming cup of coffee. The coziness of the space will make this your favorite place in the house.
Second Floor
A short flight of stairs leads to the second floor with 3 bedrooms and a full bathroom. The main bedroom has high cathedral ceilings, a queen size bed with Tempur-Pedic foam mattress topper, and a large full closet. There is a skylight window controlled by a panel, making opening and closing comfortable, and on hot days allowing for the breeze to flow. With a window facing the private forest, waking after a peaceful night of sleep feels rejuvenating. The second bedroom faces the garden and has a queen size bed with Tempur-Pedic foam mattress topper and provides a cozy country-esque vibe. The third bedroom, or a beautiful extra-seating room, has stacked twin beds which can easily be lifted as needed. This room has sun streaming all day long. The bathroom on the second floor has a tub/shower combo, perfect for bathing the little ones or soaking your tired muscles after a long day on the slopes.
Exterior
While the inside is impeccably kept, this cabin is ideal for those who want to be embraced by nature. The sights, sounds and smells of the woods offer a respite from urban life and an energetic reset. An outdoor dining area, lounge chairs and hot tub make the deck a living space all year. Whether you are dining al-fresco on a warm summer night or sipping cocoa on a snowy afternoon, this is the prime spot to be. For those who prefer waking up to watch the sunrise peeking through the canopy of trees, the deck is a perfect spot to sit and sip your morning Joe.
Down a gently sloped path a flight of stairs leads to a grassy landing. A choice spot for games or picnics. The woods are a fairy like escape to wander through with your journal, sketch pad or favorite book. You can find a place to sit, create, reflect and take space to ponder.

Tree Tops Retreat is located in the popular vacation destination of Fleischmanns, NY in Delaware County. Nearby towns include Roxbury, Pine Hill, Margaretville, Arkville, Andes, Bovina Center, and Woodstock.
This is a true 4 season area. In the winter ski or snowboard at Belleayre Ski Center (7.6 miles), Plattekill Mountain (11.7 miles), Hunter Mountain (31.5 miles) and Windham (33.4 miles).
Spring is fishing season and there are plenty of public fishing streams and lakes in the area for a sportsman. Watch nature come back to life as the tree's and flowers begin to blossom.
Summer there is so much to do, something for everyone in your group. Hiking, biking, boating, antiquing, farmers markets, fairs and more. There are numerous wedding and party venues in the area (distances listed below) as well.
Fall is the place to be in the Catskills. Farmers Markets are bursting with bounty, pumpkin and apple picking, fall festivals and leaf peeping. Days are sunny and the air crisp, you will fall in love!

A vehicle is necessary to get around. There is no or limited transportation services in the area. In the winter months when snow is likely (October through April) AWD or 4WD is recommended along with all weather or snow tires with good tread.

Winter:
Check the weather before arrival and plan your trip accordingly. If you are unfamiliar with driving in snow look for tips online at sources like AAA. Note in winter that a 4WD or AWD vehicle is recommended. The area is mountainous and the driveway is on a slope which could be hard to maneuver in a regular vehicle, particularly if you are not familiar with driving in snow. The driveway is plowed, maintained and shoveled to the door. A shovel is provided for you so you can maintain a safe walkway during your stay.
