Col di Marte has four bedrooms and a large communal area to accommodate eight people, with three bathrooms, two terraces, two balconies and surrounded by a large one-acre garden with old olive trees. Both terraces have far reaching views over the valley between Lisciano Niccone and Castel Rigone, a perfect spot to watch the sunset over the hills. For the rainy days, there is a living room with a TV and DVD player, as well as fast wifi. A modern BBQ, hammock and table tennis table means you may never want to leave the tranquillity of the villa.

Only 30 minutes from Cortona and Perugia, it is only 1.5 hours away from Florence, one hour from Assisi and Siena and 45 minutes from the famous Montepulciano wine region.

Summary: Fabulous property with plenty of space for our family of 6 & 2 dogs spread across 2 doubles (both ensuite) and 2 twin rooms (sharing a large bathroom). Well equipped large kitchen. Teens had plenty of fun in the pool (cleaned daily) and playing table tennis (bats provided). Garden was large & secure for the dogs. Cot & baby equipment and toys for toddlers was available though we didn't personally need. Vast array of books, board games, TV and working wifi. Beautiful views over the valley can be enjoyed from 2 balconies. Remote location, car is needed but this means it's quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend.
