This is our personal cottage that we rent out when we are away. We love it, we love the area, and our family has been coming to Oliphant for generations. It may not be for everyone, but it's a beautiful spot and we'd love to share it with you. Please note that if you rent the cottage it is rented "as-is." It's rustic, it's old, we clean it as best we can, and we have a cleaning service that comes in between visits; however, this is the country: there are bugs, there can be webs from spiders, and the appliances all work but some of them are old. If this doesn't sound like your cup of tea, then we wish you all the best in your search! Otherwise, read-on... Our cottage is close to the beach, with great views and is close to family-friendly activities. You’ll love our cottage because of the cosiness, the views, and the location. Our cottage is good for couples, solo adventurers, families, and furry friends. Our family recently purchased this cottage. Our cottage has two bedrooms, a pull-out couch, and a single bed in the loft. In total, that makes two double beds and two single beds, so there is room for up to six people to stay at the cottage comfortably. The cottage is across the street from the lake with direct access to the beach on Lake Huron with lots of room for outdoor activities, swimming, and letting your pets stretch their legs. We just recommend keeping dogs on leashes and being mindful that our neighbours also sometimes bring their pets. We hope you'll have a great stay at our cottage in Oliphant!
