South Padre Island Golf Club is a gated community with a spectacular 18 hole golf course and beautiful harbor on Laguna Madre. Amenities include access to the golf course (fee varies depending on season), tennis courts and 2 lovely heated swimming pools, workout gym and basketball court. The townhouse has 2 floors with 3 bedrooms, 2/12 baths and is very spacious. Two bedrooms have a king size bed and the third bedroom has two sets of bunkbeds. There is a dishwasher, washer and dryer, garbage disposal, completely enclosed garage with direct entrance to the condo. Kitchen is fully equipped. Open air up and down stair balcony patios with BBQ grill downstairs. Boat dock is out back for fishing and crabbing. Boat ramp and space to park your trailer are available. Some of the best fishing waters in the region plus beautiful ocean bay vistas. Weekly and monthly rental lengths available. RENTAL INSTRUCTIONS: Check in time is 3:00 pm. Townhouse is located in the South Padre Island Golf Club When you first arrive to the South Padre Golf Club, there are two entrances. One is a simple white gate and the other entrance has a security guard station. Be sure to enter at the security guard entrance. You will be directed to go to the office (M-F) or golf clubhouse (S-S) to get the door code, garage door opener, car pass, pool wristbands and access codes. If it is after hours when you arrive, the security guard himself may have your door code for you if you have not received it already. There will be clean sheets and towels. Check out time is 11:00 am. 1. Please put TV remote controls on top of TVs (two per TV) 2. Load and run dishwasher 3. Hang up towels 4. Put thermostat at 80 degrees 5. Return furniture and items to their original location. 6. Return garage remote to office (M-F) or golf club (S-S) 7. Close blinds. 8. Lock all doors. 9. Put all trash in green large trash container and leave it at the end of the driveway by the road. 10. Clean out perishables from the refrigerator. Our Favorite SPI Attractions: Beach access: 1. Go across the bridge to the island. Turn right once you get on the island. This road will dead-end into a park. Cost is approximately $10 per car. You can rent umbrellas and chairs 2. After crossing the bridge to the island, turn left and go to beach access 19 where Wanna Wanna Hotel and restaurant/bar is. Great clean bathroom, food and drinks (Turbo Pinacolada is the best!) Schlitterbahn Water Park - Also on the Island. We like it better than other Schlitterbahns because access to the rides is off of a lazy river. You never have to leave the water! Love it! Restaurants we recommend: Pelican Station – for breakfast, lunch and dinner Isabels – for breakfast Dirty Als Daddys - Cajun style cuisine Pirates Landing Other fun things to do: Brownsville Zoo is spectacular Turtle farm on the island Very small but super cute aquarium near lighthouse Climb to the top of the lighthouse in Port Isabel Dolphin watching boat tour Golf, tennis, basketball and swimming in South Padre Golf resort Crabbing behind townhouse – can buy nets at Walmart for approx. $1.00 and chicken wings/parts to tie on as bait. Fishing off pier behind townhouse Other info: Condo is fully equipped but you will need to bring pool floats, fishing poles and beach towels/equipment. Kitchen items, bathroom towels, laundry room facility, sheets are all provided. Bring extra paper towels, dish soap, bath soap, TP, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent etc. (There will be some but you may need to supplement. ) JJ’s taxi can pick you up from airport for $65 for entire group but must be negotiated. Also can drive you to places on the island like restaurants, etc. Isla Tours Dolphin watch is very enjoyable. Highly recommend deep sea and bay fishing. We hope you enjoy your stay. CHECK OUT TIME IS AT 11 A.M. - IF KEYS ARE NOT RETURNED BY 1 P.M. YOU WILL BE BILLED ANOTHER NIGHT. For your information we provide 1 roll of toilet paper for each bathroom, 1 roll of paper towels and 2 trash bags for your stay, please plan accordingly. Another important reminder as a guest in our rental properties, we ask you to please be courteous to our homes. Any extra cleaning or damages to our homes will result with further charges. Security will have the arrival bags for arrivals after hours. No fireworks, loud music, disruptive behavior, etc. is allowed in our community. We encourage you to bring us any comments to help us improve your stay. Pool access bracelets and pool codes can be found at the rental office. Boat ramp is accessible for resort guests. (Sorry boat lift is unavailable.)
