Pancorbo has 400 inhabitants and is located in the Natural Park of the Montes Obarenes.
Great location to visit the northern part of Spain for its good access to highways.
It is an agricultural town surrounded by mountains with typical Castellana architecture, north of the province of Burgos, on its border with La Rioja and the Basque Country.
The house is located in the historic center, in the center of town in an area of very old arcades. The Oroncillo River passes at the foot of the house.
Here the road to Santiago via Bayona passes and there are pilgrims' lodges. Road routes can be made
Easy access to park in front of the house.
You can visit provincial capitals such as Vitoria, Logroño, Bilbao, even San Sebastian and Santander.
Routes through the town:
Fortress of Santa Engracia, seeing the Losinos horses that are raised in freedom, unique in Spain.
From the highest peaks you can observe vultures and birds and contemplate the beautiful gorge.
Cristo de Barrio nice walk along the Camino de Santiago.
You can see in the village the rock of Elephant's head.
Fountain of the meadow walk through the mountain.
Monument to the Shepherd about 3 km, take advantage there to eat the roast lamb and visit the figures of the shepherds etc ... passing through the beautiful gorge.
To make visits to Rioja (8 km) and its wineries, to the Basque Country (15 km).
Visit the Merindades with its waterfalls and beautiful landscapes and the South of the most cultural province.
