You just found a 1-of-a-kind rental property on beautiful Torch Lake! Swan Cottage (sleeps 12) located on the south shore of Torch Lake is a premier location that your family will want to come back year after year to build a lifetime of memories. This cottage offers a picturesque setting on Torch Lake famous for being one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. This incredible fresh water lake is comparable to the Caribbean with it's crystal clear blue-green colors. Your family will enjoy some of the most gorgeous sunsets that Michigan has to offer and a clear night sky with views of the milky way, constellations and if you are lucky a falling star. Only 2 minutes away by boat is the famous Torch Lake sandbar where you can park your boat and enjoy the day. You can enjoy time on the deck with your family, catch some rays on the dock and then take a dip in the water with a sandy bottom. A buoy for your boat is located in front of the cottage. Bring your boat, water toys and fishing poles! Boats and water toys can also be rented at nearby locations. The kayak and stand up paddle board are free to use and the jet ski is $1000/week (rent by week only). At the end of a long boat day fire up the grill and enjoy your favorite meal and save room for Smore's at the campfire on the shore of the lake. The large deck with views of Torch Lake is a great place for a morning cup of coffee, reading a book, and enjoying meals together. There are 2 master bedrooms with king beds - 1 upstairs and 1 on the main level. There are 3 additional bedrooms upstairs: twin beds, 1 queen / 1 twin, 1 queen / 1 twin. The main level master bedroom and 3 of the upstairs bedrooms face Torch Lake. There is direct access to the deck from the main level master bedroom, dining area and main living room area. In addition the lower level is a walk out basement to the yard where you can enjoy your favorite outdoor games. The cottage offers 3 separate sitting areas for guests - 2 on the main level and 1 downstairs. Your family will certainly enjoy a friendly game of pool, chairs to relax and your favorite board games downstairs. Additional highlights include: air conditioning, wifi, washer/dryer and an extra refrigerator and sink downstairs. Make sure to visit the quaint village of Alden (2 miles) where you will find cute shops, a wine tasting room, a playground and picnic tables, a tennis court, a public boat launch, bar, Muffin Tin (great muffins!), ice cream and more! Rapid City Village Market is 1 mile from the cottage and Blue Water Bistro (full menu) is 1/2 mile from the cottage and offers take out pizza. The well-known Short's Brewery is located 13 miles from the cottage in beautiful downtown Bellaire. There are 31 miles of hiking and biking trails in Bellaire at Glacial Hills - 12 miles from the cottage. Bikes can be rented from Paddles and Pedals in downtown Bellaire.
